A brief history
Back in the late 90's the early new millennium there was
the global realization that the Internet was here to stay.
The internet had opened up the most cost effective means to
market products and services on a world wide scale. Websites
were the answer, & everyone had to have one!
Companies large and small scrambled to build websites to
tap into this new marketing medium capable of turning mom
and pop proprietorships into multi million dollar corporations.
Companies lost millions on designing and building gigantic
online presences that did little more than function as a glorified
online brochure that nobody could find unless they knew exactly
where to look.
In many instances this is still the case. They were all missing
the one vital component to make their online presence successful.
Search! The ability to be found on the internet for
the services or products that they are offering. Search
engines power the Internet! Search engines essentially are
the Internet. Without search engines, the only people that
would be able to find your website would be the clientele
that you have already contacted through conventional advertising
& telling your potential client exactly where to find
your website. Effectively defeating the purpose of having
a website in the first place.
Lets take a step back and have a look at how the
search engine works.
Q. Now comes the question... How can I get
my website to show up in the first 3 pages of search engine
results for all the major search engines and increase my websites
online visibility?
A.
Employing a search engine marketing firm to optimize and market
your website.
